Some info about the author. 

In fourth grade I remember entering the science fair.  My project was about the solar system, in particular the planets Jupiter and Saturn.  I didn't win any awards.  I remember being jealous of my 2nd grade sister when she won a ribbon for her report on cats. But somewhere deep inside my psyche that project stayed with me.  It stayed buried deep inside me through my high school years at Holy Ghost Prep(www.holyghostprep.org), through my college years at Villanova Uniersity(http://www.villanova.edu), and even through my graduate school years at Temple University.(http://www.temple.edu/)  The story didn't begin to surface until I got married to my lovely wife Dina and we had our two wonderful children named John & Kyle.  It was three-year-old Kyle who asked for the planet for his fourth birthday.  That request became the catalyst for this story. Needless to say he didn't get the planet for his fourth birthday.  But six years later Kyle along with his older brother John, received a copy of the Book, "Saturn for my Birthday."  So maybe Kyle did get the planet after all.

I currently work as a school counselor in a suburb of Philadelphia.  When I am not writing or working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons.
